304 stainless steel sheet, thickness 2.0mm, width 1219mm,length 2438mm. This size of stainless steel sheet is usually called 4 and 8 feet. And this size is very common. The thin stainless steel sheet is often used on decorating.

(Mn) :=2.00

(Cr) :18.0 to 20.0

(P) :=0.060

(S) :=0.030

(Ni) : 8 to 10.5%

Yield strength:=205MPa

Elongation:=40%

 

 

What kind of stainless steel is not easy to rust?

The third reason is the environmental condition. It is not easy to rust under the condition of dry climate and good ventilation.

While the air humidity is large, the weather is continuous rainy and the  air pH value is large, the stainless steel will rust easily.

So poor environmental condition will accelerating the corrosion of stainless steel.
