FAQ

 

Will there be obvious color differences between different lot of panels?

For the panels in clear varnished coating, nature wood color is reviewed. Generally, wood in same species is in uniform color and texture. There is nature color difference if wood is from different hills. We have color samples as reference in production to make sure color stays in the same range.

For panels in coated surface. There is color sample panel to control the color too.

 

What kind of glue do you use? Is it environmental friendly?

To glue wood slat to MDF or plywood back panel, PUR glue is used, which is formaldehyde free.

 

Are MDF and wood surface water proof?

MDF back is filmed and most wood surface are coated, so they are to some extent water proof, but it is different concept from real water proof.

By our experiences, panel in MDF back is safe enough to use in US, Canada, Japan. To use in places with high humidity, like Malaysia, we will use plywood as back instead of MDF.

 

Can I install it outdoor?

3D panels are very nice to make the brand background of a shop, coffee bar, which require it to be water proof. For this usage, we use cement fiber panel as back panel, and water proof coating and glue instead of regular material.

 

Is it ok to install in kitchen?

With water proof solution, panels can be installed in kitchen, even as splashed board.
