1.Ceramic grade sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC)

Carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) is a kind of important cellulose ether. As a kind of water-soluble polyanionic compounds CMC is made from natural fiber through chemical modification. It is easily soluble in both hot and cold water. In the ceramic industry mainly used as excipient of billet, plasticizer, strengthening agent. Used in ground glaze and surface glaze in ceramic can make the glaze body in a table dispersion state.

3. Function in Ceramic field
A. Application of preform body
1) Can increase preform body cohesive force, make the body easily shaped.
2) Effectively reduce the breakage of ceramic body.
3) Prevent the dry cracking.
B. Application in ground glaze and surface glaze
1) Make the glaze body in a table dispersion state.
2) Improve the surface tension of the glaze.
3) Increase the smoothness of glaze.

4. Characteristics
a) Finely powder and low free fibers.
b) High degree of substitution, better uniformity of substitute.
c) Good compatibility.
d) Easy soluble in water.
e) Nontoxic, odourless, no pharmacological function, harmless to physical body.

3) The products should be prevented from water and avoided damaging during transportation.
