? About Paprika Oleoresin from Honglv Capsaicin®
Paprika oleoresin is the hot red chili extract, obtained from varieties of Capsicum Annum L. from which paprika powder is produced. Such red chili oleoresin has a high colour value, but little or no pungency. Honglv Capsaicin® paprika oleoresin is available in different colour strengths up to 150 000 colour units (equivalent to 10.8% total carotenoids). In the market place practice has shown that 1 kg of paprika oleoresin replaces 12-15 kg of paprika powder with respect to colour intensity. The main components of paprika oleoresin are the beta-carotene, xanthophylls, capsanthin, and capsorubin. There is very little information on the health issues or side effects of paprika oleoresin, thus Oleoresin Paprika color is commonly used as red food coloring.

Honglv Capsaicin has more than 110000 mu chili plantation base in Yunnan and Xinjiang Province, the plant time is in July and March, and the harvest time is in January and June. In order to guarantee the supply of our chili raw material and get control the chili's cultivation environment from the very begining, Honglv Capsaicin has develop our own chili breed to get more stable red coloring, and also more chili harvest. And in 2017, our chili annual output is 22000 tons, the output of Paprika Oleoresin, (based on 100,000CU ) can reach to 1000 tons.
