This equipment consists of the shot blasting machine, cleaning chamber, hanging conveyor, shots circulatory system and electric control system.

The continuous catenary shot blasting machine is a carrier using hanging chain conveyor (with many hooks, commonly known as chain hoist) as its workpiece. In terms of the type and operating characteristic, this kind of equipment can be divided into continuous and accumulating chain. Because the equipment enables the workpiece to be cleaned on the rotating hook and there are lots of hooks, therefore it has advantages of good cleaning effect, high productivity, clear casting profile and crash proof, and etc..

The machine adopts the normal hanging chain conveyor. The features are as follows:

1) The hooks are set in an equal distance with uniform velocity; continuous operation and high production efficiency; but degrees to clean up the workpiece on each hook can't be adjusted and can only load and discharge under dynamic circumstances.

2) There is no door for the casting inlet and outlet. The sealing performance of the chamber is generally worse than step-by-step type and accumulating type.

3) The length and layout of the chain hoist can be set according to the requirements of customers. Operating stations for loading and unloading castings are flexibly arranged, easily forming an assembly line with prior and next working procedures.

4) Normal hanging conveyor is easy-to-use, low-cost and needs small amount of maintenance.

This equipment is suitable for the cleaning of medium and small-sized castings in batch production and is widely used in the car, tractor, diesel engine, valves and other industries.

Hook lifting type shot blasting machine is mainly used for the shot basting of the whole compartment of tank cars, various large or medium-sized structural parts and chassis. This shot blasting machine has an all-round design using the impeller head with advanced double disc-like straight blades. The high-speed intensive shots flow is blasted onto the all parts of the workpiece to quickly remove the rust layer, scale and dirt. Through the shot blasting, the structural parts surface is clean with certain roughness, which helps improve the adhesion between the film and steel surface and makes preparation for the next procedure. At the same time, it can eliminate the welding stress, increase the fatigue and anti-corrosion resistance as well as prolong the service life in order to improve the quality of workpiece surfaces.

Technological process:

Send workpieces to the hook rack bottom on the conveying flatcar ? the hook hoists workpieces ? electric blocks carry the workpieces to the blasting area ?do shot blasting cleaning and change the speed of the hook and then pass through ? finish cleaning and return back? the workpieces enter into the blasting area ? do shot blasting cleaning and change the speed of the hook and then return back to shots loading area ? shots feeding? enter into the next procedure.

Characteristics of the equipment:

? Make preparations for shot blasting cleaning

? Adopt three-dimensional dynamic simulation of mass ejection to design the layout of the blasting chamber and the impeller head

? Use the Impeller heads with high-efficiency straight blades to significantly improve the cleaning efficiency and ensure cleaning effect

? Completely closed design. Make sure the workpieces are in a relatively closed space. Ensure that the shots won't splash out of the chamber.

? Use electric hoist with the function of walking and lifting, which can lift automatically in the shots loading and feeding area. The moving speed of workpieces is adjustable in the blasting area to achieve the required quality.

? Use double blocks to hoist workpieces and do shot blasting cleaning.

? Finish a series of procedures including shots preparing, fast operation, fast in after speed controlling, shot blasting cleaning, fast out after speed controlling and shots feeding. The shots preparing and feeding are done by using flatcars.
