Wire rope Installation

When circling the steel wire rope from the wooden reel to hte equipment reel,you must follow below three points:

1.Pull out from the rop of wooden reel,the enter from the top of equipment.Or pull out from the underside of wooden reel,the enter from the underside of equipment reel.Otherwise the steel wire rope will be not straight and unstable,and maybe make the stress to influnce the using function of steel wire rope.

2.They lay of steel wire rope is coincident to the direction that steel wire rope increase entwist strength.Otherwise the steel wire is easy in the use process to have the reverse and the loose strand,seriously affects the service life of the steel wire rope.For right lay steel wire rope,if wooden reel revolves from up to under,then the arrangement of steel wire rope should be from the left to right(like picture A).If wooden reel revoles from under to up,then the arrangement of steel wire rope should from right to left(like picture B).For left lay steel wire rope,the arrangement of steel wire rope is cntary,for example pictures C and D.

3.When twining the steel wire rope on the wooden reel,the steel wire rope should maintain the suitable tension,ate the same time the steel wire that twines on the wooden reel must be orderly, close and no interstice between the wire rope circles.If twining the steel wire rope is loose and non-uniformity,that will cause the steel wire rope to jump from a rope’s though to another,the steel wire rope will be extruded and cut.That will be fatal for steel wire rope.The distortion of steel wire rope will the seriously influence its service life,even happen to break wire and rope accident.
