Z148W green sand molding equipment:

This machine is applied for the single-side template or single-flask molding of small sized casting parts of mass production, available for both the cope flask and the drag flask, and adopting the shockless jolt squeeze mechanism to make a compacted and well-proportioned sand cast, with the casting part quality promotion ensured. The pneumatic piping is simply-structured, easy-operated, flexible and easy-maintained.

III. Structure

This machine is composed of the machine body, drawing mechanism, jolting squeeze mechanism, tumbler head and the pneumatic piping system.

The body is a firm hollow frame-structured casting with its upper part supporting the tumbler head. In the squeezing, the tumbler hooks the body to make the body bear the squeeze force, and the body and the jolting mechanism are connected by the bolt.

a) The drawing mechanism adopts the double-cylinder drawing and is composed of the draw arm, draw-on pins, draw-on holder, etc. When the stripper cylinder is drawing, the draw arm will drive the connected synchronizing bars to make the four pins jack up the moulding flask.

b) The jolting squeeze mechanism adopts the spring shockless pneumatic squeeze mechanism, both the jolting and pressure shock available according to the technical requirement. Both the jolting force and the squeeze force are enhanced.

c) For the tumbler head, the head is fixed on the revolving rocker arm. The head with the spiral lift can adjust the distance between the head and the moulding flask based on the moulding flask height.

d) Pneumatic piping system

water and impurities in the input compressed air are removed and

compressed by the water-separating gas filter, then added the lubricating oil by the oil sprayer and thus delivered to every pneumatic element and mechanism. The machine operation is controlled by the two manual rotary valves.
