ICAL UV CLEAR HARD COAT

products are 100% solid content UV hard coating solution. They have excellent scratch resistance and chemical resistance properties. The products are suitable for various substrates such as PET, TAC, PC, PMMA and others. Recommended dry film thickness is 2-5µm. Product can be coated directly or coated after diluting with solvents. Products contain a complete formulation including oligomer, monomer, and photo initiators, and are ready to use. Since curing condition (UV light, temperature, curing speed) and equipment setup may vary, a fine-tuning is needed in order to achieve a maximum performance.

Curing Condition and Handling	Compatible with common organic solvents such as toluene, n-butyl acetate, ethyl acetate, acetone. Suggested mixing ratio, 2:1. All surfaces in contact with the material should be clean and free from flux residue, grease, or other contaminants prior to dispensing the material. Cure speed is dependent upon many variables, including lamp intensity, distance from the light source, required depth of cure, coating thickness and amount of material in shadowed areas Surfaces exposed to air may require higher intensity UV light to produce a harder surface cure. Parts should be allowed to cool after cure before testing and subjecting to any loads or electrical testing.
