Cyclone separator introduction

INOCO 900 Series Cyclone separator is a combination of multi-branch cyclone tube and cartridges for separating particles and droplets from gas.

Principle of operation

First stage filtering
Cyclone tube gas-liquid separator: When the gas flows containing liquid into the gas-liquid separator, due to the rotation of the cyclone vortex tube design, the flow will produce a strong vor tex motion, creating a strong centrifugal force, making the solid particles and liquid impurities attached to the cyclone tube wall.
After the impurities are separated from the gas stream, then fluid accumulates in the region of the container. Gas af ter purification leaves cyclone tube separator with minimal pressure drop into the next level of filtering.

Second stage filtering

Cartridge filtration and separation: This level is made of numbers of filter elements which can be replaced or repeatedly cleaned.
Such type of filter element and the accuracy level are selected according to work conditions, the purpose is to remove the smallest solid particles and condense mist and make maximum droplets could be removed from the separator.

INOCO learns the advantages of domestic and foreign cyclone tube technology and developed the separation for gas-liquid-solid-phase with high efficiency performance and wear resistant and corrosion resistance, It has high surface hardness (surface hardness up to HV900 ~ 1000),great corrosion resistance (applicable to acids, alkalis, wet hydrogen sulfide environment and etc).
Cyclone tube is a 2-inch using centrifugal principle of tubular pipe. Gas to be filtered enters the inlet port and forms rotational flow in tube, as for the liquid and solid particles and gas density differences, with the centrifugal force separated, clean fuel gas from the conduit to flow away the solid and liquid particles fall into the bottom of the separator from the conduit then drain away from the outfall. The number of Cyclone tube is based on the actual gas flow and pressure drop allowed.

Performance index

Separation: For dust particles and droplets of 8-10µm, the removal rate is 100%
Cyclone pressure drop: less than 0.04MPa
