Sidewall belt conveyor are best suited for horizontal, sloping or vertical product transport. A special rubber belt with corrugated sides, individual pocket design and (depending on version) lateral non-profiled edges can convey almost every kind of bulk material and is controlled by disc rollers, drums or sloped rollers.

Because the belt can be steered out of horizontal and into a sloping or vertical alignment, or (if required) back into horizontal alignment, there's no need for additional material transfer or conveyor devices. The conveyor head can be rotated up to 180 degrees.

In a vertical position, the corrugated edge belt hangs free in a downward position and doesn't need any rollers or mechanical fixtures.

A sidewall conveyor is often, if necessary, equipped with a protective covering (complete or partial) that enables it to run without dust and moisture from rain.

Additional friction conveyor can be installed below horizontal lines in order to convey any spillage back to the main material flow.
