DDF series single-inlet centrifugal fans
? Application
DDF series fan is a kind of single-inlet fan of high efficiency which is applicable to places of large air flow as well as general ventilation circumstances due to its low vibration and large air flow. The medium conveyed by this series of fans is air and gas that is non-corrosive, resistant to spontaneous combustion and free from viscous substance and whose temperature does not exceed 80?.

? Type
DDF series single-inlet centrifugal fans are of single suction type and fan impellers are of backward skewed type. Such impellers are directly installed on the shaft of the motor in compacted structure for convenient mounting, removal and maintenance. All fans can be made in the form of either right rotation or left rotation. When it is viewed from the front of the motor, the fan is called right-rotation fan and represented by Right in case that its impeller rotates clockwise; those whose impellers rotate counter-clockwise are called left-rotation fans and represented by Left. The location of fan outlet is represented by the angle (0°, 90° or 180°) of the air outlet of casing.

? Structure
A fan is consisted of parts like impeller, casing, air inlet and motor and so on.
1.Impeller: It is made of welded steel plates, and there are 12 pieces of blades in the shape of rear bent plate welded between front disc that is of hyperbola type and rear disc. It is calibrated through static and dynamic balance to ensure stable operation, low noise and long service life.
2.Casing: whole volute-shell structure made of welded steel plates.
3.Air inlet: The convergent air inlet is made of high-quality steel plate subject to stamping (or spinning) forming with cross section that is streamlined, and the airflow enters the impeller with little resistance. It is made of an integral structure bolted to the entrance of the casing.

? Utilization of fan
1.Operation is permitted only when the fan is in perfectly normal condition.
2.It is required to check each part of the fan for normality in case of startup of the fan upon maintenance.
3.The fan shall be cleaned regularly and the dust, dirt and other impurities inside conveying pipeline shall be removed at regular interval to prevent rust.
4.It is not allowable to repair the fan when it is in operation.
5.A throttling device may be used for adjustment in case of excessive flow which not in compliance with operating requirements or smaller flow required in a short time.
6.The fan shall be immediately stopped for inspection in case of abnormality during its startup, shutdown or operation.
