Wood pellet equipment is also called wood pellet mill ,is applied to manufacturing pellets ,raw material is various kinds of forest waste ,agriculture waste .

The pellets made by wood pellet equipment has the advantage of high density ,high caloric value (this matter is decided by material ,the pelleting process would not harm the ingredients . 

Raw Material For biomass Pellet


A.wood dust resources

40% wood dust will be produced when the wood is processed into other articles, wood utilization rate is only 60%.

1.Sawdust (75%)

Dust and debris from sawmill.

Size is usually 2 * 2 * 15 mm.

Moisture content is usually 50-60%.

2.Cut scraping dust (20%)

From the fines after cutting and grinding Moisture content is usually 6-12%.

3.Waste wood (5%) typical old wood

e.g. : door window frame from used house after demolition. And wood offcut, irregular branches flaw-piece, etc

Old wood usually have the moisture contents of 8-12% flaw-piece and wood offcut usually have the moisture contents of 30-50%.


B.Palm fruit slag resources

Palm fruit slag resources is rich in Malaysia, southeast Asia, after refining the palm oil, the rest of the palm is fruit beam.  Usually moisture content is about 60%.


C.Straw resources

Straw is the Stem diameter of waste mostly after the crops harvest, The main is rice straw, wheat straw and corn straw.  Moisture content will usually from around  50% dropped below 20% after natural piling up.


D.Other waste resources

The waste from family life, mixed paper, plastic and textiles residue, called RDF (high density fuel) products.

Some industrial wastes, burning waste, such as polypropylene piece, the artificial plastic bags, etc.
