On average, 1-MCP treated apples can keep firm for over 4 or 5 months than untreated apples when stored in CA storage conditions, and 1-MCP can treat most of the varieties of apples, such as Gala, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Braeburn, Granny Smith, Fuji, and Pink Lady.
