Introduction

Calcitonin is a 32-amino acid linear polypeptide hormone that is produced in humans primarily by theparafollicular cells (also known as C-cells) of thethyroid, and in many other animals in theultimobranchial body.It acts to reduce blood calcium (Ca2+), opposing the effects of parathyroid hormone (PTH).

Usage

Salmon calcitonin, inhibit the activity of osteoclasts,Inhibit bone salt dissolving, prevent bone calcium release;Improve bone mineral density, effectively relieve pain symptoms;Reduce the risk of fractures;Lower blood calcium.
