With well equipped, modern plant, working closely with end use customers, Haohai Metal has developed innovative evaporation products especially starter sources to reduce spitting, increase yields, and facilitate preferred film properties and rates of deposition. 

We design evaporation starter sources to fit into the hearts of electron beam systems.  They can be used for the manufacture of products in a wide variety of industries including wireless devices, LEDs, medical devices, optical coatings, functional coatings and more. These starter sources in metal, oxide, or fluoride formulations. Based on the customer request, we can manufacture insert liners in custom sizes as well as standard sizes such as 13 cc, 15 cc, 20 cc, 25 cc, and 40 cc to fit customer’s needs.

Haohai Metal’s engineers work closely with our customers continually to develop customized starter source designs. We have manufactured over 40 starter sources designs in over 15 unique compositions and alloys. We pay much attention to control the critical dimensions for design include outer diameter, height, thickness, angle, inner diameter, radius, and any other pocket, step or custom-machining. Typical compositions include Ti, Zr, Al, Cr, Cu, Mo, Nb, Ta, Ni and other custom alloys with different purities.  Haohai Metal’s current production volume is thousands of starter sources per year.
